Hi, we're Kevin and Megan.
We started our little Bakery with a small, permitted home kitchen and a big dream in the Winter of 2022. We grew rapidly and we are so thankful for your support!
We have come to the unfortunate conclusion that our workload and finances were unsustainable.
Chubby Chipmunk Bakery is closed… for now… maybe someday we can open our own storefront and we’d love to see you there!
We’ve been renting the kitchen at and supplying Pure Bean Idy with most of their pastries since last June, and the owners have graciously taken us in as their full-time Bakers. Come say hi! And check out our new sandwiches, biscuits, tarts, and more!
We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Larry and everyone over at Village Market & Deli. Doing business with them was easy and delightful. We are also grateful to Raj & Anjali, owners of the Idyllwild Bunkhouse, for welcoming us to Idyllwild, inspiring our baking venture, and inviting us to provide scones for their guests’ breakfast baskets.
And to our wonderful neighbors, thank you! Thank you again and again for all of your enthusiastic encouragement.

Banana Bread
We bake our banana bread in an extra large loaf pan and make a double batch. It is moist, delicious, and everything you want in a banana bread with its golden-brown top.
S'mores Cookies
Our personal S’mores Cookie recipe is out of this world. Then the way we bake it with a perfect crisp on top and a gooey center… and the marshmallows sometimes caramelizing a touch - Oh, my! They really are "an experience!"
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Our giant chocolate chip cookies are the best chocolate chip cookie you've ever had - you just might not know it yet. Crisped to golden perfection, we promise you'll want more than 1.
Double Chocolate Brownies
Our Double Chocolate Brownies have a crisp top, a gooey center, and has 2 kinds of chocolate chips baked all throughout. They're decadent, thick, and leave you craving more.
Classic Blueberry Muffins
Our jumbo muffins are about twice the size of a normal muffin, and some would say they're at least twice as good! These blueberry muffins are topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
hand-made scones ~ Our specialty
We knead our Scones by hand (and we even have a step when we fold the love in!) so as to not overwork the gluten — meaning our scones are “light and luscious,” and not dense like you’re used to.

GLUTEN-FREE LEMON BLUEBERRY MUFFINS
Our lemon blueberry muffins are some of our personal favorites. They are light and fluffy, with delicate lemon zest and whole blueberries baked in, and lightly topped with a blueberry icing.
